When a digit's candidates in two rows are confined to the same two columns, eliminate that candidate from the other cells in those columns.
All candidates have been entered in the empty cells.
In each column in A, candidate digit 8 appears only in the 2 rows in B. Because the 2 instances of digit 8 in the 2 columns in A cannot occupy the same row, one is in each of the 2 rows in B. Therefore, remove candidate digit 8 marked × in the 2 rows in B.
